Helpful Hints
When picking up your vehicle, remember to call 1 hour ahead to schedule a release time and make sure you have the following 4 things:
- Government Issued Identification
- Proof of Ownership of Vehicle
- Keys to Vehicle
- Payment
Public Auction
- All vehicles are sold AS IS, no returns are accepted
- A cash deposit of $300 is required at the time of registration. Deposits are only refunded if the bidder makes no purchases during the auction. If you make a purchase, your $300 deposit will be applied to the purchase price.
- A buyer's fee and a $50.00 processing fee are added to each purchase.
- The methods of payment accepted are as follows: Cash, Cashier's Check, Certified Funds, Visa or Mastercard. Payments should be made out to Shanks Inc.
- The registered bidder's name must appear on any and all paperwork necessary to register and title vehicle purchased.
- Registered bidder is responsible for the payment for the vehicle purchased.
- All charges must be paid in full before release of vehicle and title or processed title work.
- Final payment MUST be received by the following Monday after the auction at 4:00 pm. If payment is not received by that time, a late fee of $50.00 will be added and a $25.00 storage fee per vehicle, per day will be assessed.
- Vehicles must be removed from the site no later than the first Monday after the auction date in order to avoid any storage fees. Any vehicles left on site for 7 days after the Monday following the auction date will be resold at the next auction date.
